School Management Software in Cameroon: 2026 Comparison

By Hyacinthe MEDJO · · EN

Published prices, offline mode, languages and free trials: sixteen school management products offered in Cameroon and Gabon, compared from their own websites. Data as of 6 October 2026.

Which school management software exists in Cameroon and Central Africa?

At least sixteen school management products are offered in Cameroon and Central Africa. They differ mainly in pricing model (flat licence, monthly subscription, per-student fee), offline mode and how clearly they publish their prices. This comparison, dated 6 October 2026, relies only on the vendors' own websites.

Disclosure: ClassMata is one of the products compared, and its publisher wrote this page. Read the rows below as sourced facts, not as a ranking: no product is declared "the best".

How much do they cost? Published prices in October 2026

Eight of the sixteen products show a price on the pages reviewed. The three models seen are an annual licence per school, a monthly subscription by enrolment band, and a per-student fee. The other eight (SAMIA, Wacni, Logesco School, Schola, Prosoft Africa, SchoolBench Pro, SikoloTech, Galactis.Education) publish no price on the pages reviewed, so you have to request a quote.

To turn a monthly subscription into an annual cost, multiply by twelve: Skoulou comes to 96,000, 216,000 and 420,000 XAF per year before discounts, EduCam Pro to 240,000, 540,000 and 900,000 FCFA (these totals are our own arithmetic, not published prices). Which one is cheapest therefore depends on enrolment, the modules you need and the length of commitment. Which ones work without an internet connection?

Nine of the sixteen products mention an offline mode or a local installation on their websites: SchoolMboa, EcoTech, Skoulou, HelpDigiSchool, Logesco School, Prosoft Africa, SAMIA, SikoloTech and ClassMata. The mechanisms differ: a local installation on a school computer, an installable web app that synchronizes, or an on-site server. The other pages reviewed do not mention an offline mode.

Languages, mobile money, mobile app and free trial: what do the websites say?

Among the Cameroonian products in the table below, most advertise French and English, mobile money payments (MTN MoMo, Orange Money) and some form of free trial. ClassMata offers French and English, a mobile app included in all three plans, and a free trial with nothing to install at demo.classmata.com. Its manual does not, however, document mobile money payments: check this point during the demo if it matters to you.

Some vendors stress report cards that follow Cameroonian standards: SchoolMboa advertises MINESEC-compliant report cards and HelpDigiSchool compliance with ministry standards. ClassMata builds report cards from the school's marks, coefficients and grading system (report cards in the manual). In every case, test your own school's report-card layout during the trial.

How should a school choose?

The right choice depends first on three things: the school's internet connection, the enrolment you expect in two years, and the modules you will really use. Here is a reading by situation, without a ranking:

  • Unstable connection: keep the products that describe an offline or local mode (table above) and test synchronization with a real outage.
  • Growing enrolment: compare the total yearly cost at today's enrolment and at your target, for a per-student fee, a tier or a flat price.
  • Need for finance and payroll: check which plan or module includes them; in ClassMata, fees and HR/payroll start at the Pro plan.
  • Mobile money payments: ask for a demo of the full flow, from fee reminder to receipt.
  • Bilingual team: check the language of the interface, the report cards and the documentation.

Our school management software guide details six selection criteria to check during a trial.

How was this comparison made, and what are its limits?

Each fact comes from the vendor's home page or pricing page, viewed on 6 October 2026. We tested none of the competing products: "mobile money", "offline" or "MINESEC-compliant" are vendors' claims, not verified. Prices change, so confirm them with the vendor before deciding. A product missing from this list may well exist, and a "not stated" cell only means the page reviewed does not mention it. To report an error or an update, write to us from the Support page and we will correct the row.
